Since you came here, I feel I should tell you what this all is about. So, here you go.

My name is Roman Malanke and this blog is my place on the web. I’m a young bloke residing in Kyiv, Ukraine. I work in a dynamic international company but I would rather be a surfing instructor somewhere in Hawaii :). Just joking. In fact, I’m pretty happy with my life because I have some free time to do things which I’m passionate about. These include swimming, snowboarding, dancing salsa, learning languages, listening to good music, reading good books and watching good movies. Also I’m a great fan of podcasts. My all-time-favorite is Dr. Jeff McQuillan who has literally taught me English through his podcast eslpod.com (thank you, Jeff). I also play guitar which makes my neighbors especially happy. There is a huge number of things that I want to accomplish in the future but currently the first priority is to become able to travel wherever I want.

This blog is intended to be my self-development tracker, traveler’s log, and just a place to record various things that come to my mind. I also want to try myself in English writing (one day I’ll become a best-selling author, so you better subscribe right now ;))

Please excuse any blunders in my English — I’m still learning. Actually, English is my third language with the first two being Ukrainian and Russian. So if you see any errors and have time to show me where I’m wrong please do it right in comments — I would greatly appreciate that.
