My Friends

It’s nice to see how friends succeed in their jobs, start new businesses and grow both personally and professionally. So I decided to create this page where I put links to websites, blogs and projects run by my friends. The records below appear in the chronological order from earliest to newest initiatives.

Olenka — The Best Hairdresser in Ukraine

I happened to be one of the first clients of Olenka back at university dormitory and had a pleasure to watch her steep professional growth. She is incredibly talented and positive person who turns doing your hair into delightful experience. I actually had to stick to short haircuts , because that allows me to have them more often. And by the way, not many hairdressers hold university degrees in engineering and economics like Olenka does.

Uniki — Clever Kid E-Store

This is project of my friend and ex-colleague Ruslan. He is the example of how to approach your dreams and create financial independence from scratch. I’ve been witnessing the development of this e-store from the very beginning and from what I’ve I can say that Ruslan has really got a business grip. I wish him good luck and prosperity!

Milkart Photography

We got acquainted with Ian at work when both of us joined the newly started IT project as team mates. We worked together for 4 months and it was a great time. Then Ian introduced me to his passion — photography. Now he has pretty thick portfolio of high quality works in a very delicate genre. Check out his site!

Nick Martyniuk’s Blog

If you could stand a person for four years of sharing a tiny university dorm room and afterwards still want to meet with that person more often it means that either you are a very tolerant and masochistic guy or that the person is really good. With Nick it’s definitely the latter. I’m happy to have met him.

Handmade Lab

As long as I know Nastya, she’s always been unique in all regards: from wearing custom-made dresses and accessories to making one-of-a-kind presents to her friends. Now she has a website where she shares recipes of amazing little things that can be made by hand. And indeed it’s the whole Handmade Lab.

Dimambo Social Dance School

Steve Jobs once said: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do”. My friend Dima does incredibly great work in growing social dance community in Ukraine by teaching classes, designing the most convenient and reliable dancing shoes, and leading a latin music band. If I were to describe Dima with one word, I would say “quality”: quality in attitude, quality in approach, quality in execution. Visiting his website and classes is highly advisable but may result in hopeless hooking on mambo.
